What kind of church is F.C.C.?First Christian Church of Morgantown is a non-denominational New Testament Christian Church. We are committed to the principles of our Christian Church heritage in the Restoration Movement. We are a congregation independent of any outside control except God and His Word. God has called us to preach and teach His Word. We want to be faithful to this high calling. We call people to faith in Christ…a faith that responds to his commands to repent, confess our faith, be immersed into Him, and continue to follow Him.What should I wear?Come in whatever you are comfortable in. From jeans to a suit, you are welcome!As a visitor, will I be singled out in any way?You will not be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed at all. We do have a welcome packet for all visitors who want to pick one up at our welcome center. There are also cards in the pew if you want more information.What is worship like?First Christian Church believes that worship is not limited to the Sunday morning celebration of song and praise to Christ. As a part of our worship philosophy F.C.C. participates in communion every Sunday as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper as demonstrated in Scripture.On Sunday morning you and your family will be able to worship Christ through a blended worship style that will take you before the throne of God by way of today’s latest and most powerful praise songs and amazing traditional hymns. Our worship band features a full arrangement of instruments including: drums, guitars (bass, acoustic and electric), and piano.What are the sermons like?The preaching at F.C.C. is Bible-based and Christ-centered. We want to teach children about being a follower of Christ, by always emphasizing loving Him and loving others. Our volunteers are top-of-the-line, and we care about your entire family. We have programming from birth-5th grade each Sunday.
